Philip White, CFA,
CFP®
Phil
White is the Managing Principal
and founder of Ducere Capital. Previously, Phil served as a Director in
the USAA Financial Advice Center where he helped build a phone based
financial advisory practice offering comprehensive financial guidance
to over 400,000 clients annually. Prior to USAA, Phil worked in the
JPMorgan Private Bank where he advised clients with assets greater
than $25 million on asset allocation, capital structure, and investment
decisions. Phil's other work experience included time as an associate
in the Investment Management Group of Goldman Sachs and as a civil
engineer officer in the United States Air Force.
Phil earned his Masters of Business Administration degree with Honors
from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania with an
emphasis in Real Estate and Finance. He is also a Distinguished
Graduate of The United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of
Science in Civil Engineering. Phil has earned the designations of
Chartered Financial Analyst and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
practitioner. The CFA and CFP® designations are widely
considered
to be the top professional designation in the investment management and
integrated financial advising fields respectively. Phil is a member of
the CFA
Institute, the San Antonio Society of Financial Analysts, and
the Financial Planning Association.
Phil is married to his high school sweetheart and has three children.
In his spare time he enjoys cycling the Texas hill country, playing
pickup basketball, and volunteering with various youth organizations. |
